Join us for a special Juneteenth tufting workshop created in celebration of community, creativity, and cultural expression. This session is dedicated to BIPOC individuals and offers a welcoming, supportive space to explore textile art and storytelling through tufting.
This is a pay-what-you-can workshop with a $50 minimum, making it more accessible while honoring the value of the experience. Expect an intimate, small-group setting with hands-on guidance, space to create freely, and an environment rooted in connection, reflection, and joy.
What’s Included:
Personalized Guidance – Learn tufting fundamentals with closer, individualized attention. I’ll walk you through safely using the tufting gun, stretching and prepping your fabric, and bringing your design to life.
Your Own Rug – Each participant will tuft a custom piece on a 3x3 ft frame.
